An LGBTQIA+ safe space for discussions!
Unfortunately the world is a bit of a mess at the moment and you
might not feel comfortable discussing certain issues in a group
where you don’t know everyone.
I hope to provide a space where you can feel free to be yourself,
discuss anything of interest to you, and maybe find some new
friends among like-minded people!
– When?
Every Thursday 18:00 – 19:00
– How do I join?
The link to the meeting will be posted on this forum every Thursday evening
from 17:55 – 18:05.
Simply click the link and follow the instructions!
– Will clicking the link save my name or email address?
Nope! You don’t even have to use your real name.
When you click the link, it will ask you to enter a name before joining. You
can use whatever name you prefer.
– What if I’m not comfortable showing my face?
Feel free to leave your camera off until you do feel comfortable. The atmosphere
in the group is much friendlier if everyone’s cameras are on,
but in this case your comfort is of higher priority.
– What if I would like to join this group, but I don’t tolerate one of the
other rainbow letters‘ lifestyles?
Then unfortunately this isn’t the group for you.
The only thing that won’t be tolerated in this group is intolerance.
That goes for race, religion, gender and anything else it might apply to.
– How much does it cost?
Nothing! It’s gratis and for free.
– What do I need?
A camera, a microphone, speakers, and enthusiasm!
– Is this an English class?
Nope! It’s an opportunity to practice speaking English on various topics with
a variety of people.
– What are we goin to talk about?
All sorts of things! Horses, cars, cooking, travel, psychology, political issues,
cultures, etc, etc, etc.
You are more than welcome to suggest your own topics. It’s preferred, actually!
If you join without a topic in mind, there will be a few suggestions you can pick
and choose from.
– Can I invite my friends?
Of course! The more the merrier.
